About

One maker, one metro, no upselling

Viking Repair Denver Pros is an independent repair outfit working Viking equipment in Denver, and has been since 2014. Ranges and rangetops, wall ovens, built-in refrigeration and dishwashers — and nothing else, because the failure patterns only become obvious when you see the same machines repeatedly.

Why the patch is small

Four neighbourhoods, not the whole Front Range. It means the common parts are already on the van, a second visit is not a half-day trip, and the kitchens are familiar: bungalow galleys off South Pearl, rebuilt Tudor kitchens in Park Hill, fifties ranches near Colorado Boulevard, and conversions around Cheesman Park where the doorway is the workspace.

Why altitude keeps coming up

Denver sits a mile above sea level, so there is roughly 17 per cent less air than the factory assumed. Gas equipment set for sea level runs rich — tall orange flames, sooty pans, a simmer that will not hold — and ovens behave differently even when nothing is broken. Half the work here is telling those two situations apart before anything gets replaced.

How a visit is priced

$89 covers coming out and finding the fault properly: readings on the machine, not guesswork. You get the repair price before any part is ordered, and the call fee comes off it if you go ahead. Each repair page on this site prints the range that kind of work falls into, so you are not going in blind — but the number that counts is the one quoted for your machine, because the honest answer depends on the part and on how much cabinetry has to come out to reach it.

What we will tell you

When a repair has stopped making sense, you will hear that too. These are heavy, commercial-derived machines and most faults are worth fixing — but not all of them, and a customer who is told that once tends to call back for the next thing.

Who turns up

Certified where it is required, plain about the rest

Viking equipment mixes gas, high heat and sealed refrigeration in one kitchen. Two of those are regulated, and the paperwork below is the part of this page that is not marketing.

  • EPA 608 certified

Required to open a sealed system legally. Refrigerant work on Viking built-ins is done under it, not around it.

  • Licensed, bonded and insured

Gas and electrical work in occupied Denver kitchens, carried out by someone who is covered to be doing it.

  • Viking equipment only

Ranges, rangetops, wall ovens, built-in refrigeration and dishwashers. One maker, so the failure patterns are familiar.

  • Price agreed before work starts

The $89 call buys the diagnosis and the number. Nothing is opened further, and no part is ordered, until you have said yes.

Tell us what it is doing. We will tell you what it is.

8:00 am – 8:00 pm, seven days for visits, 24/7 on the phone. $89 covers the trip and the diagnosis, and comes off the repair.
